About SoftBDInfo
Who writes this, how it is checked, and why it exists.
SoftBDInfo publishes software and technology guides for people who want the actual answer, not a page that circles it for eight paragraphs first.
What we publish
Four things, and nothing else:
- Windows - fixes, settings and the tools worth installing.
- Android - phones, apps and the settings that matter.
- AI Tools - assistants and models tested on real work rather than demos.
- How-To - step-by-step guides, in the order you will actually do them.
How a guide gets written
Every guide starts from a real problem, not from a keyword. Before it is published:
- The steps are run on the version named at the top of the page.
- That version is stated, because “it depends on your version” is the single most common reason a guide fails.
- Anything we could not verify is marked as unverified rather than smoothed over.

How this site makes money
Some links are affiliate links. They never change which tool we recommend or where it ranks in a list, and a paid placement is never presented as a recommendation. If that ever stops being true, this page changes first.
Corrections
Software changes under our feet. If a step no longer works, or a page is simply wrong, tell us on the contact page and we will fix it and date the correction rather than quietly editing it away.
